Easter is a time of celebration and tradition, and for the Local Hearts Foundation, it is also a time of giving back to the community. On April 8th, 2023, the foundation gave away over 1,400 baskets to families in need and also provided pancakes for those who came to collect their baskets.
Local Hearts Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community for over a decade. Our mission is to help families in need, particularly during difficult times like holidays.
Our Easter Basket giveaway titled “Baskets and Pancakes” has become an annual tradition, and this year’s event was no exception.
In addition to the baskets, the foundation also provided pancakes, a local treat that everyone loves. The pancakes were made fresh on the spot and were a huge hit with the families who came to collect their baskets. This is thanks to our partner and local restaurant, Loaded Cafe.
The volunteers who were serving baskets and pancakes had big smiles on their faces as they saw the joy that the pancakes brought to the children and their families.
The event was a huge success, and it was evident that the foundation made a significant impact on the community.
